Question about 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee
I replaced the battery now the fan behind the radiator will not shut off. Had to disconnect the battery. Noticed when trying to jump start prior to replacing battery fan came on.
I have a 2002 lorado and my radiator fan won't turn off. took the fuse out..it shuts off...put it back in..it comes back on and won't go off.
Just started today.

Likely, you did not need a battery....It probably died because of the fan problem... Most common cause is the fan relay sticking in the "on" position. Relays are generally found in a plastic box on the right side fender well in the engine bay. Box is labeled on inside. Pull the relay and the fan should stop. If it does, replace the relay.
