The turn signal flasher is to left of the steering column (as if you where sitting in the drivers seat. It will be about 10 inches away from the column secured to a bracket on the backside of the dash. It is hard to see and get at but it is there.

SOURCE: Turn signal location

The flasher element is under the dash it's either to the right or the left of the steering column. Turn on the t/s and listen for the clicking noise.
This car has 2 of them 1 for thr hazzard flasher and one for the t/s make sure you chnage the right one. They look exactly the same except for they have a colored paint band around the outside of them Like one is yellow and one is blue.
The replacement one you bought more than likley will not have that but make sure the # stamped on the end of it is the same as the one you are changing. The 2 of them are mounted on the same piece of metal under the dash so that makes it confusing as well.
Good luck and hope this helps

Signal lights are not working, can you show me in a diagram where the flasher is located on a 1996 intrepid?

The turn signal/hazzard flasher is a small unit ( little black box, 5 prongs ) Located between the fuse box and brake peddle on a braket under the drivers side air conditioning duct. At some point and time in 1995 dodge swiched over in the middle of production so some 95 intrepid and 96 and 97 should all be the same.

Where is the location of the turn signal flasher?

I have a 94 Sonoma and to locate the turn signal flasher, inside, under dash, on left side is a plastic sound protector, mine had 3 screws holding it up, drop this down and straight in you will see a 1" round thing - this is the flasher.

Have no turn signals or hazzards, bulbs and fuzes fine..

Did you replace the flasher?

Flashers The turn signal flasher is mounted in a clip on the right side of the steering column support bracket. The hazard flasher is located in the component center, under the instrument panel, on the right side. Replace the flasher by unplugging the old one and plugging in the new one.

Both front and rear turn signals stopped working

Your turn signal flasher needs to be replaced (the hazard flasher is separate unit). Your owners manual should have the location of the turn signal flasher (usually on the fuse block under the dash).

Good fuses no turn signal

I believe your car has 2 flashers, one hazard, one turn signal. Check the turn signal flasher to see if it's bad. Located driver side, upper steering column under dash. To make sure u check the correct flasher, try using the hazards after removal of flasher, so u know u have removed the correct one. Let me know how u do.
