SOURCE: low fuel rail pressure
who did a conversion on this truck???? the duramax is a common rail engine and can not handle wvo or sve. it will destroy your entire fuel system in no time on this truck. if you want to do a vo conversion you need to get a diesel with an inline injection pump or one of the older powerstrokes. i would suggest you quit trying to run wvo through this truck if you do not want to do a lot of very expensive damage

I think it's a vacuum leak. Check the little rubber hose connectors and the PCV valve and the EGR valve and the mounting of the air intake. With the engine idling (you might need a brick on the pedal to keep it idling) probe around the air intake with propane. When you squirt propane into the leak, the engine will go faster.

I don't know what part you are asking about? There is no regualtor for the fuel filter. There is a fuel pressure regulator, is that what you want to replace? Or is it something else?
What is the reason that you want to replace the fuel pressure regulator if that's what you are asking about?
