Question about 1996 Chevrolet Blazer
That should be an LED light assmebly. There shouldbe two screws holding it in place. Remove the screws and pull out the lens. There will be a two wire connector. Make sure there is power on one wire when the brake pedal is pressed. Make sure the other wire has a good ground. If both of those are good than the lens will need to be replaced. i got a 1996 chev. blazer s-s10 4.3 engine 4x4.problem i got is i got 1st 2nd & overdrive & reverse but no 3rd gear what should i do

A very common issue with these is the multfunction/turn signal switch in the steering column.GM has a recall on this problem you should contact your local dealership have your VIN number to see if your vehicle is included in the campaign. If so the repair should be minimal cost or no charge to you at all.
