Question about 2009 Ford Fusion SEL
How do I change the light bulb of the clock?
Remove the instrument panel center finish panel by gently pulling rearward using a small thin prying tool such as a small putty knife. This will release the spring clips. Disconnect the electrical connection to the clock. Near the top corner of the rear of the clock is a small lamp assembly that screws out. Mine had a black plastic base but the one I replaced it with had an orange base. I ordered an Audi/VW part #4A0919040C as it was substantially cheaper than what the Ford dealer wanted. When you remove the lamp, you will notice the bulb has a green skin over it. You want to try to remove it carefully so you can re-use it on the replacement lamp. The best way to describe it is that it resembles a minature condom. I soaked it in some soapy water to loosen it up and make it easier to remove. A little soap also helps when you place it on the new lamp. Replace the new lamp, re-attach the power and press the instrument panel trim back in place and you are good to go.

To set the hour, press and hold the CLK control and press SEEK. (Use arrows to increase or decrease hours). To set the minutes, press and hold the CLK control and press TUNE and use arrows.
This should work unless your vehicle has a separate clock module.(Other than the digital radio display).

I had a 2002 model 1.4 Fiesta, same problem Engine management light or
ECA, electronic accelaration Control (EAC), it needs a ford dealer to do
a computer diagnostic, most likely that it will need replaced.
Mt friend who is a mechanic for ford said that it was a common factory fault and is very common in 1.4 zetec /duratec petrol models.
I now have a 2007 Fusion and was quick to see if this problem had been sorted on this model, and it has!!
Hope this helps!!

For the clock:
Turn the radio on
Push and hold in the clock button
And push the seek button (left) for hours
And push the seek button (right) for minutes
There is no AM or PM
For the radio: Find a radio station on the radio Push one of the selector buttons on the radio and hold it down for about 10 seconds and release That's all it takes You should have 5 buttons for AM And 5 buttons for FM-1 And 5 buttons for FM-2
