Question about 1995 Mitsubishi Galant
In the passed some times id have to jiggle the key to get it to start
Could be an old security system interfering with the ignition module, but lets start with the basics. you need three things to make a internal combustion engine run 1. AIR.. you have to have a good supply of fresh air. its just like you , it needs oxygen...2. FUEL.. if your not feeding the combustion chambers you will not have combustion....3. SPARK.. if you dont have spark to ignite your AIR..AND . FUEL. you just wind up with wet spark plugs. check these simple things and let me know.. ill look later to see if you found anything..see if i can help u farther then....just a side note if you have a security system on this vehicle..try this.Lock all the doors make sure no-one is still in the car then unlock the drivers side door with the key. this resets alot of them

SOURCE: Multiple times during this week,
Here is what you need to do 1st, go to your local auto parts store or hardware store and buy a tube of powdered Graphite lock cylinder lubricant, u then spray the dry lube into the ignition lock cylinder and insert key and turn the lock cylinder to run and off again and do this at least 3 or 4 times, then repeat, clean up the excess powder and u should be good to go, if the problem continues you will need the ignition lock cylinder replaced and the security system programmed for the new key and cylinder, so that will be a dealer job.
