You could be low on antifreeze, bad water pump, bad thermostat or a collapsed hose. Assuming you do have plenty of antifreeze and hoses are in good shape, do you have good heat inside the car? When car is still warming up open the radiator cap and visually see if antifreeze is circulating. If it's not you can remove the thermostat and then check if you have circulation. If yes then replace the thermostat, if no then replace water pump. That's how I troubleshoot old school cooling systems.

Oil is getting n my radiator it is a cream color & thick like a gravy, my truck hasnt been running hot until a few weeks ago due 2 it getting so thick and wont rotate, everyone says its a cracked

Sounds like you either have a cracked cylinder head, or more likely, a blown head gasket. Get the gasket changed, and have the head inspected and tested while it's off.

Low coolant in reserve every week

Absolutely have to stop using it, until the issue is resolved,
just common sense

There are no Fluids on any vehicle that are consumed
or need topping off,ever

You have a leak & it has to be found

If you see no coolant leaks & you need to really
spend time looking.

Have to crawl all over & under the vehicle & don't miss a thing,
check both hot & cold & after a trip

You could have a head gasket going & that is not good,
you won't see any leaks with that situation.

My nissan altima is loosing water and pressure; cant find the leak and i have multiple missfires as well, how can i fix it?

Wouldn't both you & your mechanic only need to know
that it runs hot & losses coolant,to almost suspect a bad
head gasket ,out of the gate & then do the correct testing?

Looses Coolant
Can't find leak-has to go somewhere
Misfires-effecting cylinder performance

What about a combustion leak test ?
Does system hold pressure?
Is water pump leaking or not pumping?
Where Manufacture Bulletins checked?
Misfires from what?

Personally I woulod get rid of any van,I wouldn't take
a brand new on for free

I think you have you know we can't guess at much & you
most like have the start of a head gasket issue

The transaxles on those are the worst ever made, the failure
rate is real bad

Have it diagnosed & don't get put any money into it

It's a van,15 years old,Ford Product with issues

You got nothing going there

Should the engine be running when adding coolant to my 2003 cadillac cts

If you just drained it & are refilling, then yes,the engine
should run & warm up until the thermostat opens & you
keep adding.

If it isn't hot & circulating thru the entire system, you won't
get it close to full with the rad cap off
