Generally this should be located on the passenger side of the transmission on the other end of the rod that runs through the trans from where the shift linkage attaches.

Check the wiring that goes to the reverse light you may have a broken or loose wire also check inside the bulb socket for corrosion that would also cause it no to work.

I'd replace blower resistor, usually found under hood on firewall on passenger side, or on duct work, inside under dash on passenger side,close to blower motor.
