speed sensor is only used to tell the processor to shift the trans into overdrive and lock up torque converter, don' know what the orig post was, try to always use the same thread to post new questions about the same issue.

try changing the drive shaft speed sensor, sounds like you have a malfunctioning drive shaft speed sensor, change sensor and reset codes and test... e 300 had this problem in 94 and 95 even when they were close to new with very low miles... please rate my help , thanks

Go to ebay and you can buy a new switch with controls for about $50..pry top of arm rest off with a plastic putty knive and just unplug the two terminals and switch out the controls....it will work fine...but you may have to do it again if you own the truck more than four years,,not too dependable
