Question about Cars & Trucks
Currently replacing a leaking head gasket in the above vehicle and have found a tappet loose. I have the clearances but need to know steps involved to adjust.
These are hydraulic and require no adjustment. If they are noisy then there is a mechanical problem due to worn parts.

Hello, For all 615, 616 (4cyl) and 617 (5cyl) through 1985 model year is:
cold intake 0.10mm or .006in
exhaust 0.35mm or .014in
hot intake 0.15mm or .007in
exhaust 0.40mm or .016in
