SOURCE: how do I replace the front wheel bearings on a Mazda 626 1998

The front bearings on a mazda 626 are sealed and you must remove the entire hub assembly to have a shop or dealer install the bearings. The hardest part is you need to remove the center axel nut and it is very tight and is called a stake nut. If you do not have a fairly good amout of skill at repairs, this is one job that is safest left to the pros. Just one missed step can create more damage than you could beleive.

SOURCE: Half the dash lights are out on my mazda b2500

There are several small screws to remove. It doesn't take long once you've done it and know where they are located. First you must remove the center console--there are two screws (i think 7mm or 8mm) underneath the middle part kind of hidden from view on the center console. Then remove the lower plastic panel under the steering wheel. Then a metal panel must be at least loosened enough to reach the lower screws on the dash panel you're trying to get at. Then there are three more screws along the top ledge that must be removed. Then you can get to the bulbs. I think there are 5 in there, and two in the center console. It sounds difficult and time consuming, but it only took me like 15 minutes start to finish

I need a automatic transmission repair manual for 1998 mazda b2500

You can get a digital download on ebay for a few dollars or go to the dealer and ask for the shop manual, this covers almost every thing in your vehicle and is only for that vehicle and year. That`s what the dealer shop mechanics use and Ive had mine for many years and helped my dozens of times with things Ive never know about.

My 1998 Mazda b2500 won't go in gear sometimes, and sometimes it does fine. It is a manual transmission. I have checked the fluid level for the slave cylinder and it was good

with a manual tranny, the most likely cause for problems going into gear is the synchronizers, as long as it is just the synchros, a rebuild on bearings and synchros is not to terrible.

Replace clutch plate on 1992 mazda rx7

You will have to drop the transmission. Inspect the pressure plate for excessive wear and stretched springs when you remove it. Replace your throwout bearing at the same time, they are usually worn out by the time you need a clutch.

How do you replace a clutch bearing pressure plate? On a 1992 mazda navajo

You need to remove the transmission (and transfer case if its 4 wheel or all wheel drive) to access the clutch assembly. Be prepared to replace the clutch disk, pressure plate, thrust bearing, throwout bearing, and in your case since its a Ford/Mazda the slave cylinder and plastic line to the master cylinder. A very big job for the do-it-yourself-er.

Throwout bearing

this procedure is covered in a Haynes manual or a Chilton's Manual for your car. The throwout bearing is located between the engine and transmission, you have to remove, usually the transmission, to replace it. if you do not have one of these manuals you can probably find one at your local library or Auto parts store.

Diagram Mazda 1998 B2500 4cyl 5sp throw out bearing assembly & dustcap

Are you asking where the throw out bearing is located?
If so, removal of your transmission is necessary to access it. It will be on your input shaft of your tranny behind your clutch. Its on the other side of your clutch fork.
