Intake Manifold 5/16 Bolts Non-Hardening sealers 25 ft-lbs
Cast Iron Heads 3/8 Bolts 30 ft-lbs
The torque sequence is snug all down then just star left rear then right front then right rear then left front and so on

Go to Autozone or similar business for a free computer scan. They will be happy to sell you any needed parts. I have no idea what a 'locked intake manifold' is, but I believe that I would seek out a different mechanic. Good luck!

These torque specs are from the Haynes manual (Ford pick-ups 97' - 03') This is a 2- step proccess. step-1 44-in-lbs step-2 89-in-lbs. There are 14 bolts that hold the manifold in place, tightening sequence goes as follows: start from the center( WORK IN A "X" PATTERN)

two passes ,start in middle and just nip each bolt working outwards left to right ,then a then a pull with the 3/8th drive rachet till they feel right ,about 15lbs but i never use a torque wrench ,too lazy to go to the stores and book it out with all the paperwork and wait in the queue

Upper intake manifold with a new gasket on the lower intake manifold and torque the bolts, in sequence, to: 105 inch lbs. (12 Nm)
