This sounds like a build up of condensation (water) possibly in your ac/heat ducting or possibly in the plastic casings under the dash that house some of the heating and cooling components. cold ac components close to warm or hot heating components will lead to water build up this is why there should be a drain tube for the plastic housing under the dash board that leads to the outside of the vehicle. this drain tube may be clogged or may be disconnected and not draining to the outside but instead its allowing the water to fall into the area under your dash board. FYI you can sometimes see these drain tubes drip water on cars that use their air conditioner a lot, it looks like the car is leaking water from the bottom but it's just the water draining away from cool air conditioner lines on a hot day and draining properly to the outside of the car and not on the floor inside.

Testimonial: "I checked the a/c drain and it wasnt stopped up?do you think it could be the drain from the sunroof?"

SOURCE: fuel pump relay

The fuel pump relay is located in the relay box under the hood. This box is located near the battery. The fuel pump relay's location is marked on the lid to this relay box. If your lid is missing, it is the relay just outboard of the pink 30 amp Maxi Fuse.

SOURCE: Adding freon to 98 Isuzu Amigo

You need to add the freon on the low side which is usually indicated by a blue cap. The red cap is the high side port. Never add freon using the high side port. Typically if you are buying a guage set from your local auto parts store, it will only attach to the low side service port because they are diffent types of connections. Another easy way to tell is to turn your AC on and feel the lines that the ports are attached to. The low side should be cold/cool and the high side will be hot.

SOURCE: how to bypass heater core on a 1995 isuzu

you need to remove the two hoses going into the firewall and plug them. They sell plugs and hose clamps at the parts house. Measure the hose size which is either going to be a 1/2' or 5/8" or 3/4"

I am getting water on the passenger side floorboard

Water or coolant? Coolant (if you have the correct 50/50 ratio of water and antifreeze) will have a distinctive smell.
If it's coolant that's getting on the passenger side floorboard, you probably have a leak in your heater core.
If it's water, it may be condensation from your a/c evaporator - there's a drain that should allow the condensate out of the HVAC box, but if it's plugged, the water will come inside. The other possibility if it's water is that there is a leak around a window seal, windshield, sunroof, possibly the door window.

My heater does not put out heat, living in FL did not test it, worried about A/C working, got a cold night and no heat??? Help

1 if you purchase the vehicle used the heater core could have went out and the previous owner deleted the heater core in the engine compartment. the heater hose our heater core is stopped up and needs to be replaced. Or 3 the heater core is just out in this case usually you will notice water in the smell of antifreeze on the passenger floorboard

If my heater core was leaking, why wouldnt i have water on my cabin floorboard? how do i tell if heater core is leaking?

Scott, do you see external leaks on the ground? Where? if so, that's not a leaky core, but something else,
When you turn on your defrosters the anti freeze may vaporize and cause a film to form on the inside of the windshield. Take a cloth and wipe the inside of the windshield to see if it smudges. If it does, it IS leaky core inside the box. If not, it still could be a leaky core, but it is not enough to get blown around yet. The heater core box is acting like a bucket. Pull the carpet back by the passenger's feet at the firewall. look to see if it is soaked under the carpet. Pull back the Driver's carpet. Antifreeze travels. Do you see external leaks on the ground? Where? if so, that's not a leaky core, but something else, Lastly, does it smell like antifreeze inside the car? Check all this out and let us know your outcome, Scott. (A heater core in a modern care is not for the faint of heart or limited skill levels.)

What is causing water to leak down onto the passenger side floorboard of my 2004 Mazda 6 wagon when I have AC on?

Feel the water and smell it. If it smells sweet and fells oily, is is coolant. If is isn't oily and has no real smell, it is water. There is a tray under the evaporator and heater cores that catches water/coolant and drains it via a tube thru the firewall to the outside of the car. This tube is probably clogged and needs purged. If you have coolant on the floor, you'll need to replace the heater core. If it is water, purging the hose will solve the problem as the water is just condensation from the AC coils

I have a wet floorboard on the drivers side

Is the water hot water or smell like antifreeze? If so you have a leaking heater core. If t's just plain water then look at a leaky gasket on the housing for the heater /AC case.

Coolant leaking somewhere unknown, have to add to reservoir every 3 days or so, strong antifreeze smell with a/c on. water sloshing sound in passenger side dashboard. bad heater core?

sound like a bad heater core! the heater core is like a small radiator that is usually locaded in the dashboard on the passenger side. now if the leaking is really bad you are going to see water dripping by the front passenger tire or if it gets really bad it may leak inside the car. in order to fix this problem the HEATER CORE must be replaced. good luck

I have an 1999 chrysler 300m an it has an overheating problem. There is also water all over the driver side floor (front n back) it is soaked. It takes about 25mins b4 it starts smoking. Can som1 plz help...

Typically if your leaking coolant inside the car, it indicates your heater core is split and leaking. Replacing the heater core is quite the job. It requires removal of the dash board and heater box. i replaced one in a 97 Cirrus at work last week and it was a 6 hour job. If your not mechanically inclined i would definitley recomend phoneing around for quotes to local auto repair shops and getting it done profesionally.

How do i know if heater core is leaking?

if you have a puddle of water on your floorboard and you dont know where its coming from that would most likely be your problem because the same thing happened to my cavalier and i had to replace it its in the plastic shroud behind the middle console towards the bottom and the 2 heater core hoses you can see if you pop your hood and look behind the motor around the area where your rack and pinion is they arent hard 2 miss theyre 2 small hoses right next to each other and theyre easier to get off from underneath the car

Sounds like the heater core has a leak. When you get low on coolant, the temp gauge will start to fluctuate.
