Question about 2002 Audi A4

2002 Audi A4 3.0 Driver's Window

Greetings,

First window motion became intermittent, working once, stopping again, then one day it just stopped working, (fortunately in the "Up" position).
Changed out switch and now the motor, but it doesn't even sound (or feel by holding the motor) that it is even trying to move.
Is there another relay or switch? All other windows are working properly.

I have 2001 a4, both windows were intermittant, now both stopped. Also central locking closes every minute or so. Any clues?

I hear motor sounds when I hit the switch but the window won't move, it is in the closed position.

I have a 1996 Audi A4 and the driver's side rear window does not go up or down. I have replaced the motor and still nothing. It stopped working on one day. There was no failing before it stoppe

defective window switch or broken wire, did you test the power to the window motor when you changed the motor?? start there, unplug the motor and test for power when you use the switch, then up by the switch test for power into, and coming out of the switch, if the switch gets power but no power coming out ten its the switch. if the switch has power coming out but not at motor, then its a broken wire.

Actuator about to go out, cost about 600 dollars, have done it a least once on all windows and twice on the back ones, very common problem and happens a lot on BMWs.

Driver side window not going up or down

It is most likely a wire that became disconnected at the switch, if neither windows work, it is likely a fuse.

Most likely the window motor brushes are sticking, but in any case the door panel must be removed to service the motor
