Do you still have a cat ?
if you do it might be plugged
does it back fire therew the carb?
that would be a lean backfire caused by a lack of fuel.
if your timming is retarded it could also act somwhat this way
first listen to your exaust and let me know

Have you checked to make sure the fuel filter isn't clogged (in fact, check all the filters). Sometimes it's really that simple . . .

My 1984 300zx N/A is acting up where it'll start

How many miles are on it? Could be timing chain wear.

Where can I find the fuel filter on a 1984 Ford F150?

A 84 should still be carburated. And someone could have added a filter between the gas tank and fuel pump or between the pump and the carb. If not there should have a screw in filter where the line comes into the carb.

my '93 f-250 (4.9L) stopped running while driving, now it acts like it isn't getting any fuel. Tried switching tanks, but still does the same. What would be the problem.

How does your run if there is a problem with the fuel pump?

They won't run. If it seems like it's starving for gas, change the fuel filter. Sometimes a fuel pump will get weak, but on a car only 3 years old it shouldn't be.

Changing a fuel filter and fuel pump on 1994 Beretta

The fuel pump is inside the gas tank. The filter is next to the tank in-line of the fuel hose.

My truck acts like it is starving for gas

You need to check spark plugs/wires/distributor cap.
Also good idea to check/replace fuel filter/air filter. It might be also bad fuel pump.
Good Luck

Fuel filter replacement

you will get dirty and full of gas so pick up a fuel filter (NAPA).go to your local ford dealer that has a fastlane and they should only charge you half an hour, about 30-40 dollars.while they are changing it ask if you can watch so next time you can do it your self.while you are there if you have any other questions about your vehicle dont hesitate to ask them.
