I would guess the brake fuse ( this does not use the same fuse as the tail lights/blinkers) or the ground for the brake light bulb.

SOURCE: 99' dodge ram 1500 signal light stopped working

If they went out completely it is probably the flasher unit. I just had to replace mine. It's on the fuse block on the left end of the dash. It's the big square unit on the bottom left of the fuse block (looks more like a relay than a fuse). Very simple fix, just unplug and plug in a new one. Part was $11.99 at the auto parts store.

SOURCE: 2004 dodge ram 1500 rear brake light out how to replace?

Well once the tail gate is open and you take out the 2 screws on the light fixture . the light assembly shall pivot towards the outside of the box. some manipulating but the assembly shall come out.
The bulb needs a simple twist and pull .... Plug and play..

Bummer deal! On some cars this happens to warn you tail lights are out! ...check as follows...

Sounds like tail light bulbs are wasted - or a fuse for that circuit needs replaced. Remove light bulbs and see if there is a brake in their tiny filament. Replace both sides if not sure. See the fuse panel cover or car manual for the fuse location. A spare may be there to replace - if needed - or buy a pak of the size sown. Hope this helps. gc http://www.auto-tune-up-and-repair-options.com/

The brake ,hazard and turn signals do not work

I suggest first check FLASHER unit. On 2001 Dodge Truck RAM 1500 1/2 ton 4WD 5.2L SFI 8cyl the Flasher is located on seating area, driver side, at the left side ofinstrument panel on fuse block.

Hope this helps (remember to rating this free answer and leave a testimonial comment).

1996 dodge ram 1500 5.2L no brake lights or turn signals. fuses are good. what else could it be?

I would suspect the turn signal switch is at fault.have someone hold the brake and wiggle turn switch. ..When you turn swtch to the right and brake the turn switch turns off left brake lamp so light will blink same thing the other way ..kinda complicated but hope that helps

On a 2002 dodge ram 1500 truck the brake lights and the turn signals and winshield wipers dont work the only brake light that works is above the cab. and the turn signal flashes on the dash like they are...

I suspect a bad multi function switch located in the left hand side of the steering column. This switch controls your high/low beams/wiper delay/windshield washer/turn signals and hazards.

Turn signals and hazard lights quit working on 2001 dodge ram

The only thing left to investigate is the signal switch itself. The brake light system runs through the signal switch so it can effect both systems. Start with the simple, like, is a wire loose? Look at the base of the steering column. Check plugs and such. I believe you'll see it's in that part of the system.

Good Luck
