SOURCE: My Impala lt 2006 power steering hose is blowing

is it the pressure hose or the return hose?
if its the pressure hose and your power steering is working fine before it blows then the releaf valve is bad in the pump and you would need too replace the pump also
if its the return hose then they are either not clamping it or its not strong enough too hold the pressure e.g. wrong one for it!!!

SOURCE: chevy silverado 2006 lights "service air bag"

First of all you need to get this problem fixed ASAP. While the airbag light is illuminated, your SDM (Sensing and Diagnostic Module aka: the brain of your airbag system) shuts of power to the airbags. In which, if you are in an accident your airbags will not deploy while this light is illuminated. You need to take your vehicle to a GM dealership. A Tech 2 scantool is needed to retrieve the code from the SDM. Hopefully it won't be a costly repair, but is something that defineatly needs to be corrected soon. Good luck and hope all works well.

SOURCE: Problem with 2006 Chevrolet Impala --Windshield washer fluid

Sounds like the fuse blew out again. Look at the wiring that goes to the washer fluid pump and check for any place where it might have rubbed against something causing it to short out. Fix this 'short' before you replace the fuse again or you will continue to have problems.

I have a 2006 Impala the 10 amp a/c fuse blows. I was told by ask.com i needed a new compressor. So i put one in and still have the same problem.

I would start by checking the wiring from the a/c control head all the way to the compressor as it is most likely a short causing the fuse to blow. You will most likely need a wiring schematic of the air conditioning system and a dvom/volt meter.

Blowing A/C fuzes

Well the short answer is too much current flowing thru the circuit. It would depend on what the fuse controls as to where the problem is. Could be a component or a wiring problem, including a short to ground.

2001 impala won't turn over sometimes security light doesn't come on or flash anytime

Several GM products, including the Chevrolet Impala and Malibu, the Oldsmobile Alero, the Pontiac Grand Prix, and Saturn Ion, have issues with the Security light coming on. This is many times an indication of a failing Body Control Module (BCM). Initially, the Security light will come on then go off, progressing to a constant on light, before the car will refuse to start. Other symptoms may include erratic action of electronics, a clicking sound coming from the glove box, and the air conditioning failing to blow cold air. I recommend a shop that specializes in the electronic systems of vehicles to diagnosis and make the necessary repairs. They should keep the car until they replicate the symptoms described. A new BCM from GM should cost about $230; plan on another $200 for them to diagnose the problem, replace the unit, and program the new unit. The dealers quote between $700 and $1,100 for the same repair. My experience and the experiences I have read on the internet, indicate the new BCM should last only about a year.
