Question about 2010 Porsche Panamera

Open Question

No start on car. battery ok. no fault in diagnosis mode. has check also the starter and found good.the vehicle has 9000kms on clock. can someone help me in this issue

Engine type : V8 4.8lts model Panamera S made: europe(germany) all fuse seems ok

I'm Looking the DIAGRAM for your porshe. on my PC.
And I see that if the Instrumel panel is broken. or damaged.
The scanner Don't be able to Diagnostic the instrument funtions.

But the REST of the funtion will be able the scanner to read a FAULT CODES.
If the scanner Don't want to comunicate with the vehicle ECM.
First step . Check the FUSE # B10 15amp. and # B1 15 amp. in the fuse block left side of Dash.
They give a 12v to the DATA LINK CONNECTOR.

OK.. I hope this help on your problem.

Have you tried tapping on the starter then trying to start the vehicle may be a bad spot in starter usually if no sound when trying to start and new battery will mean the starter is no good . Starter can be found by following the positive cable off the battery.

It is impossible to propose a diagnosis of your issue without knowing the YEAR, MAKE, and MODEL of your vehicle. Additionally, "car will not start" is not a sufficient description of the issue to give any real guidance.
IF you mean that the starter is turning but the engine will not run, that has nothing to do with the starter. You will need to have the stored codes read out of the ECU as a starting point, and proceed with a standard diagnostic of your engine.
IF you mean that you have tested and replaced the starter and checked the wires but the starter does not TURN, suspect a bad starter solenoid or a bad starter circuit relay or ignition switch. If the starter will not engage at all, suspect a fault with your vehicle security system, starter circuit relay, or ignition switch.

2002 Forester Subaru won't start.

Sounds like a winding has gone down on the starter, and if the starter stops on that winding, just the solenoid clicks, when it does it tap the starter body a few times and try to start it again, it can just move the rotor enough to get it to start, but it will need a new starter

check battery connections, if they are good check the power supply from the battery to starter motor (thick cable), if this is good have someone crank it while you check the signal wire to the starter motor(thin wire), if this is good replace the starter motor. u could tap the starter motor with a hammer if accessible while someone is cranking it, sometimes this will get the starter going again but will still need replacing

I have a 2010 Chevy Malibu LT with the 2.4L engine. Vehicle starter is sluggish almost as if it is lacking enough charging capacity from the battery. Removed battery, had it load checked as ok, cleaned...

place a ampmeter on battery wait 5 minutes and read the draw .. max current 30mA.
take someone to start the car and you check votlage drop during cranking (stop engine not to start only crank.

2000 jeep cherokee starts slow. doesnt idle well, and radio clock resets...i installed a new battery, new starter and checked all ground on engine. what is it??

It sounds pretty obvious that it is losing battery power. That is about the only thing that will cause your clock to reset itself. I would be taking a HARD look at the battery cables and connections. By this I mean to do some actual circuit testing like performing voltage drop tests.

Also, since your vehicle is an OBD compatible vehicle (which means it is capable of self-diagnosis), it would also be a really good idea to perform a FULL computer network scan to see if there are any clues there.

By "FULL" I mean scan ALL the modules and check the data - NOT just hook up a generic code reader and try to pull codes. If the PCM is losing power you will not get any generic OBD fault codes from a code reader. However one of the other modules will most likely report communications faults with the PCM. Cheap generic OBD code readers cannot perform these functions.

ba engine generally is strong, common fault is ecu, if hard starting when cold, pour hot water on computer and it should start, also have you scanned vehicle?

The starter has been tested as good, but the car wont start, any ideas?

load test battery
check for tight, clean connections at battery
check neutral safety or clutch safety switch
check starter relay
check ignition switch
check engine and chassis grounds,

Four types of starter motor are utilized depending upon the vehicle transaxle and assembly plant location. Manual transaxle equipped vehicles utilize a conventional starter motor which consists of a yoke, an armature assembly, an overrunning clutch assembly, a solenoid, a commutator end cover, a brush holder and a pinion drive lever. Automatic transaxle equipped vehicles utilize a reduction type starter motor which has, in addition to the components found on conventional starter motors, a reduction gear and shock absorber assembly.
In the basic circuit, the solenoid windings are energized when the ignition switch is turn to the START position and the clutch start/neutral safety switch is closed. The resulting plunger and shift lever movement causes the pinion to engage the engine flywheel ring gear. This movement also causes the starter solenoid contacts to close.
With the contacts closed, the starter solenoid provides a closed circuit between the battery positive terminal and the starter motor. Because the starter motor is permanently grounded to the engine block, the circuit is complete and cranking occurs as soon as the starter solenoid contacts are closed.
When the engine starts, the pinion is designed to overrun and protect the armature from excessive speed until the ignition switch is released from the START position. With the ignition switch released, a return spring in the solenoid assembly forces the starter solenoid contacts open, breaks the circuit between the battery and the starter motor, and disengages the pinion. To prevent prolonged overrun, the ignition switch should be immediately released upon engine start-up.
