Look on ebay. just type in Nissan Armada key and they will come up for about the half the price of the dealer cost. Plus thay are some aftermarket companies that make them also.

A LOCKSMITH MIGHT BE A LITTLE CHEAPER but with the chip keys they arent cheap. if you just want one to unlock doors have a regular key cut without chip this will be much cheaper although it wont crank vehicle it will get you in if locked out

Cheap key to unlock vehicle

Do you have a vehicle that has one of those expensive micro chips embedded in the key? And because of that expense you have not purchased a spare in case of lock outs, well this cheap trick may save you some money. Just have a regular duplicate key made for about $1.00 from your original. Then if you lock yourself out with the original key inside, this key will unlock the door lock. Remember it will not start your car because there is no chip, but it will get you inside if locked out. It worked for my Tahoe and Grand Marquis. It should work for other vehicles too.

Need to buy a spare key not too expensive

Alot of the "key blanks"for the newer model vehicles have computer chips inside of the key itself,if this is the case, your local "ACE HARDWARE STORE" can be of great assistance with your key duplication need.

Need a duplicate set of keys for my 1997 Aurora. Do I need to have this done by any keymaker (ex: hardware store), or must I have someone specialized in this type of key duplicate it? If so, how can I...

If you have the key with the "chip" or resistor in it, sometimes called the pass key, or smart key, you won't be able to have another key make that will work. You can have another key made that will fit the ignition switch, but if you use it,it will trigger the anti theft system and you won't be able to start your car, even with the crrect key.You can have a bypass system installed that will enable you to use any key, but it will disable the security system. Go to a website called "newrockies". They have an affordable bypass system that works.

It will not turn in the ignition and the steering

  • Maybe the key needs to be replace or duplicate a new key. But if you have a duplicate key try to use the duplicate key. If still the same it will not turn on better check the key ignition. Maybe it is not properly align.

I need to get a copy of my key. I brought a used Ion and only got one key. Where can I get a copy made.

Hi:
If your original that you got with the car is in good enough shape, a locksmith can duplicate it for you, but if it isn't in that good of shape, often you can get a key cut from the dealership's service department, based on the Vehicle's VIN number. It is a bit more expensive, but they usually can help you out....

Electronic key keeps eating batteries only last a week

Check the metal clip on the area where it holds the Lithium battery to clear out the shorted. If there is none then The mini board circuit in your FOS key is bad draining current. You have the second one for spare. Every Benz car comes with 2 FOS keys. Use the spare one and put away the bad one. It is expensive to buy a duplicated one. Cheer.
