The engine air filter is located in the box behind the battery. This box should have 4 metal clips that pop off and you and pick up the top of the box and underneath is the filter.

For Toyota 2007 rav4 6 cyl.: How do you remove the engine air filter cover without damaging the tubes and hoses connected to it? I am replacing the engine filter.'Thanks for the help.

Under the hood right behind the battery. Undo the clips on that black plastic box and the filter is right there. There is also a cabin air filter behind the lower glove box.

When you change the filter, you shouldn't have a problem with the hoses or tubes.

Does the 2002 Rav4 have an engine air filter or just a cabin filter?

Sure it has an engine air filter. It's under that hood. Cabin filter is for filtering air to where the driver and passengers are.

Where is the cabin air filter located in rav 4

Remove the contents of your glove box, and open it fully by pressing inward on the middle at both outer sides. Drop the box door down. Look into the dash area. You will see the tray that holds the Cabin Air Filter.

Where is the oil filter air filter on rav 4 2003 plus how u you change air filter and spark plugs on rav 4 2003 ??

ok here goes
Since the engine air filter is pretty straight-forward I'll assume you're talking about the cabin air filter. I have a 2005 and assume it's the same for your 2003 so try looking behind the glove compartment. You should be able to get behind it by opening it and gently bending the plastic part that catches when it is all the way open so that it passes the catch. It will then swing the rest of the way down (you may want to remove the contents first) so that you can access the door to the filter.

The oil filter is located under the vehicle and unscrews from the oil pan.
