Obviously the ignition..or ignition interupt...is it manual trans..?....look for switch at top of clutch peddle..(car wont start unless in neutral or clutch engaged)

there is a switch..(a button with electrical house body behind it with connections) at the very top of clutch peddle shaft above the pivot..that button moves in and out when clutch arm moves from your applying the peddle ,which switches on /off..electricity to ignition switch....you may need to remove skirt covering wires ,below steering column to get up under dash there

Vehicle Stall - Ford Focus X Reg

I will suggest some cheap areas to try first.
1.Wiring connections to your computer under the dash.
2.Check wiring to fuel pump.
3.Check black boxes under hood. They have relays and terminals may corrode.
4.Ignition switch, sometimes with heavy keychains the contacts can loosen.

Take it to Autozone or Oreillys for a free scan. When you say car cuts out, does anything work like lights, horn, radio? Please post symptoms and if anything has helped you.

two options just pull them straight up or they make a special tool that you can buy to do this. if you are going to replace plugs you should go ahead and do the wires at the same time.

Car won't start

Check positive wire at starter make sure its getting good contact and do the same with the ground wire. If both are making good contact and it still won't start the you need a starter.

I have a 2001 Focus Zx3. The dashlights, parking

Sounds like a short circuit here ? You will need to locate the short circuit . Most probable is the tail lamps and their connections , then number plate lights , then any hinged wiring going from body to a door or trunk (ie No plate illum lights) area . Sometimes the dash dimmer can be a problem . Good luck
