its usully at the rear of motor and red in color to check transmision you need the vehicle running pull the stick and wipe off then slide back in pull out and then you will know if you need any transmission fluid if you do you need to put it in the hole where the dipstick goes/ Please rtae my response thank you very much

If the fluid is up -
it could be a vacume loss or the shifting module..
The shifting module is what tells it to shift - and it is controled by vacume pressure..

Transmission fluid level get's check from the transmission pan. there is two drain plug's on the transmission pan, the lower one is to drain fluid and the up most one on the pan is to check level, with engine running remove the up most plug if transmission fluid start to come out it's ok.
