SOURCE: Suzuki swift Headlight problem

Have you checked to see if this is a wiring problem or maybe a relay problem?

Recently my lights would work on side lights and not anything else and this was down to dodgy wiring and needed a new relay unit.

SOURCE: replace headlight bulb

Actually there are two little black tabs on top of each headlight housing and you simply have to pull them up to release the whole headlamp.

Then follow the rest of emissionwiz's solution.

SOURCE: headlight went out in 2003 ford escape i have

you have to remove the whole headlight assembly, then pop off the front cover pull the old bulb out and put the new one in. reverse the process to re-install. there is a small plastic tab on the topfront of the headlight assembly, that is what you need to release to get the clear cover off and get inside.

Dipped headlights are intermittent

Look for the RELAYS for the lights. They are usually on the fuse box. Replace the headlight relay.

Headlights are not working on a 2006 2500hd

I do not know what you have tried so start with, Test the bulb, find the fuses change over with headlight fuse for verification, find the change over relay on fuse board ( possible is two relays) if one relay for both, change for known good one, if has two relays (one for head and one for dip) swap over and if you now have no headlight that is the faulty relay, replace, find your swifch connection plug and test for corrosion or bad connection, These steps usually find the fault however if not then you must have a faulty switch (does not happen often but does happen) If you go to a scrap yard and explain, they may allow you to plug in a switch to verify the problem

One headlight flashes

Not the dreaded laguna again ,always electrical problems with these motors ,well this time i cannot see the fault as the relay as only one relay not one for each side so check the loom out first in case a mouse has had a chew and the headlight wire is picking up a feed from say the rad fan or ? also check it out as just incase their is a relay for each side of the headlights as i just havent had this problem before to know whats what but word of caution with this car be careful what you touch as they do like to activate the immobilisor and lock themselves so make sure a window at the back is open whilst you play with it .Best of british with it from spain

( 2003 BMW Z4 )My right side headlight does not work. I changed the bulb still not working. What could be the problem? The mechanic says I should get a whole new unit that runs at about 1200 at a junk yard...

replacing the headlight unit will not solve your problem since your problem is about electricity.

try to search for a relay or fuse for your headlight, most likely you will see a relay since there is only a single fuse for both headlights. meaning of this fuse blows off, both headlights will not turn on. relays are attached to each headlight, so if one goes off, the other one will still work.

if this does not solve your problem, have an electrician check your headlight wiring connections.

No dipped beam headlights on audi a4 1,9td 2003

Check up dipped beam headlights fuse inside fuse box. For Audi A4 the fuse box is located on the left side of dashboard behind a plastic cover (for left hand steering wheel vehicle). On inner face of the plastic cover you will find the fuse diagram. If the dipped beam headlights fuse is OK, check up dipped beam headlights bulbs.

Headlight problem

Yeah,

There was a relay between the headlight selector switch and the dip/high beam stepper relay which was not on the circuit diagram.
Its a bit difficult to access and is right under the dash on the far left above the fuse panel (British right hand drive type).
The multi spade connector (5 terminals) had been intermittent and overheating for some time. I cut off the connector and soldered all connections to the relay.
The 240SE is back to its reliable self.
