Question about 1988 Chevrolet S-10
While i was driving my cerpintine belt came off but was not broke or snaped i found out that where the pulley for the power steering is mounted the bracket the hold it n position had broken clean off i need to find a replacement or somethign i can do to repair this problem because i have four kids and only one car
Well there is 3 ways to fix this 1 buy a new one from a parts store costly . 2 try ebay ive found all kind of parts for real cheap on there new and used . 3 try a junk yard or in some states there is some places called pick apart or pull apart. where you can go and pull the parts off and your self verry cheep . only thing else i can say is take it to a fab/metal shop and have it welded but i dont recomend this . it will weekin the part and prob break again . hope that helps

Find a pickup the same year and model. With this hood open, Take a coat hanger and bend the hanger to the correct shape to snake into your pickup and hook onto the hood latch. Practice a little on the hood open, partial closed etc until you are comfortable snaking this into the latch.

u need to get a special tool for pulling asnd installing the pump's pulley, as soon as you get the pulley off the pump is easy to remove, Autozone and Kragen loan this tool with acredit card secrity deposit.
