SOURCE: driver side wiper wont work
One side does not work? Can you move the arm with your hands? If so, look for a loose nut that holds the wiper arm on. Remove the plastic trim on the wiper arm base, and tighten the 12 millimeter bolt. Please advise if this helps.

check wiring in the door. check power going to motor with a 12V test light of DOVM (digital volt ohm meter) while hitting the switch at the same time. then reverse the testing leads on volt meter. if theres a split or broken wire on in the drivers side front door then thats the problem and u will need to repair that

The battery light comes on if the battery voltage is too low. Check you battery voltage. It should be above 12V with the engine running. If not, the alternator is not working. Next, check if there is power on the FIELD terminal of the alternator. Again, you should have 12+V. Check if the Alternator fuse is blown.
