2003 fuse 13 draw battery goes dead. fuse is marked clock backup 7.5a

Possible is the clock. The battery might not hold charge.
-How long you have this battery...?
-Each battery's life is last Only 5 Years.
-Here is a sample test:
Let the engine run for about 15 min, turn it off. Disconnect both battery's cables and hook up a voltmeter to it.
How many volt you first test. and then wait for 10-30 min and test again to see how much you get.
If it's lower than first test then the battery doesn't hold charge.
Time to get new one.

96 olds cutlass ciera sl wont hold charge with new battery and alternator

Well the charge light means the alternator is not charging the battery.
You would need to get the alternator and circuits tested on the car.
It could be a bad connection somewhere or other wiring problem.

It's a brand new car. Hyundai has a 5 yr/unlimited miles roadside assistance. Call them and have it towed to your dealer (FOR FREE). Hyundai will fix it FOR FREE

Your car isn't supposed to be doing what it's doing - you obviously have a battery or electrical problem that needs to be addressed. No need to try to fix it yourself - that's what the warranty is for.

This is the roadside assistance number from the HYUNDAI website:

1-800-243-7766

Good Luck!

I have a 1992 pontiac bonniville and i just replaced the battery and I cant get it to hold the charge or start. When and if I get it jumped it allowed me to run my errands but the next morning wouldn't...

It sounds like a couple of things may be going on.
1. Check the water in the batt. Some times a battery will not hold a charge if it's low on water ( BE VERY CAREFUL batteries have acid in them that can be very dangerous if your not careful. Let a mechanic do this if you are not sure) 2. Check your connections- Make suer they are tight and free of corrosion 3. Check your alternator. If it's not working properly then it will not charge your battery correctly. 4. your battery may have a dead cell.
You can take it to AutoZone and they will test your battery and alternator for free.

A new battery should have approx 12.62 fully charged
It could be slightly more
If you ever see 13 volts, on an old battery, it is gone

You need a min of 12.5, to do any testing of your vehicle, or you charge it
It should hold 12.5 or more for 3 or 4 weeks, then charge, if you let the truck sit
unused.

My 1998 isuzu will get jump started but wont hold the charge i thought after it runs for a couple of mins it should recharge it self wats wrong snl

If the battery is bad it will not hold a charge. Have your battery checked a the local parts house or your mechanic. Also have the charging and starting systems checked to insure they are working properly. Battery should have a reading of about 12.8 volts, alternator should be putting out between 13 and 14 volts. Starter should not draw to many amps.

98 tahoe wont hold charge

Sounds like you have a bare wire somewhere that is touching metal and grounding out. Probably a starter cable. Try unhooking the battery, check the voltage of the battery, then hook the cable back up, watching for sparks from the cable. After you get it hooked back up, check the voltage again. If you see a small spark, it is normal. If you see a big spark, you have a wire that is touching something it is not supposed to.
