Check engine ligth on

Code PO340 "Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction". Now that does not mean that if you simply replace the sensor your problem will be solved. It can be simply loose, cut, or corroded wiring. It can also be something entirely different. This is where diagnostic skills come in.

Well Get Your Manual Book on the Page Setup Program Utility and Follow the instrution... Under Your Dash You Got what they Call The Terminal Box Connection For Computer Analyzer But off corse To do So .. You must bring your Car on The BMW Deeler To
Activate The Rom Memory Utility.. To Re-program your Light sensor What you call Welcome Lights On your risk Pin 2.8.13. must be short respectively with a diode 2 and 8 13 for ground. on your ignition If you miss it will just cost you S750 dollards for new computer Dash... Hi,
The code you reported does not seem to have relevance for BMW. Often
generic OBDII codes do not have meaning and in this case the fault code
does not correlate with any reference tables that I am using at this
time. If you can have the car scanned with the BMW proprietary software
and revert with those codes, it might shed light on this issue.
Let me know.so that we could proceed.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
