Dear Neeooo,

Have you checked that no wires are broken, open or otherwise shorting out your connections? Might also want to check your cars' imobilizer and any associated wiring to and from the ignition system.

If you can provide more in depth information in what you have tried and tested then I can assist you further, but so far, I am going to stick by either broken, shorted or incomplete circuit somewhere within the wiring or sensors.

Look forward to hearing from you soon.

Yours sincerely

Is there a fuse that enables or disables the anti theft system?

didnt specify vehicle some actually have fuses others auto breaker but when fuse blows system will be disabled but it will also disable vehicle until fuse replaced --so pulling a fuse to disable your security system because of a problem will also disable your vehicle

I just swapped a 4.7 engine in my 2002 jeep grand cherokee and now it wont turn over, there is power and the security system light comes up on the dash

fix security first. if that is and immobilizer, it will be immobile.
check all fuses. and battery charge,
the battery needs to be at 12.6v , at rest.
if you pulled engine with the battery connected , you did blow the mains. (main fuses)
blow alt main, or others. in the engine bay you will.

If fuses blows on a grand am sc 1999 is there a short in the wire an how can you tell

The security light staying on usually means there is a problem with the VATS system - - it is not accepting the chip in the key.
When a fuse blows, there is too much current flow in that circuit, usually from a short to ground. It can be in the wiring or the component the fuse is protecting. You would take the component out of the circuit then check the wiring as needed.

I keep blowing my PCM BAT fuse in my Lumina

you need to find the wire or component that is giving feedback into that system and then you can fix it. Putting a LARGER FUSE is only taking away the security of the system

The fuse in my radio blew out and i dont have the security code

You may not need the code; if the fuse blew, it may happen again if the output section has failed. If you or  friend has a meter, you might want to check between the + and - inputs of the radio to be sure that it isn't going to just blow the fuse again. Measuring across those two may damn the system to the scrap heap.

These 'secure' electronic systems are driving everyone crazy. Changing a 12V battery can cause endless irritation.   If it's factory and you have a title or valid registration, a Honda dealer might be able to help.

Security Light always on, door lock fuse keeps blowing

This is most likely a problem with your Passlock anti-theft system which is known issue with these cars. Passlock is a "passive" anti-theft system, which means that it will disable your ability to start the car if it thinks there is a problem. The three components that can cause this are: 1) Ignition Switch, 2) Ignition Cylinder, 3) Body Control Module (computer). The dealer is the only one who can solve this problem (unless you can bypass it, but it is not that easy). Estimated repair from most dealers is $800 and up.
