Check for spark out of the coil for those two cylinders. If there is no spark swap the coils. If there is still no spark out of the same cl replace it. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Thank you for using!

what you said doesn't make any sense? Can you retype it using complete sentences, punctuation and a little better clarification?

For example, it can't be "running" on all four but it only cranks or turns over?

where talking about the computer that is under the dash and not the ignition module correct?

Was the computer flashed or updated with you specific vehicle info?

if the security light flashing on the dash. If it is it may need to be relearned.

I have a 1997 sunfire I recently replaced the ignition and starter box but this morning went 2 start it and it wouldnt start it will crank but its not getting any spark the fuel pumps not kicking in or...

GM vehicles are equipped with an anti theft system. There are several parts that must communicate properly for their system to work. When they don't communicate, it will either shut off the starter or injectors. You may have had this problem and mis diagnosed it as ignition or starter. Also after changing the ignition this may have interrupted the system also. Look for a light on the dash that says "security". if you see this light, then this is the problem. I've had great luck in just bypassing this system entirely. Read about it on this some "do it yourself" fixes.

Was driving down son's dirt road driveway returning home at low speed in 2nd gear in my 1997 sunfire when it suddenly started running rough with no power. it will start right up and idle is rough but...

Sure sounds like a typical case of dirty/contaminated fuel....or a broken vacumn supply hose around the intake manifold area, in neutral let it idl;e and look and listen for a hissing sound, or a broken black rubber hose.
Also have the computer scanned for any possible codes.
Another thing to look at is the catalyctic converter, put a vac. gauge on the engine and see if the vac drops to almost zero...indicating a plugged cat.

Stumbles on idle, hard to start when cold

That would be your coolant temp sensor it makes the car really hard to start in the cold and has poor acceleration and idle during warmup.

usally this goes away after the motor is hot

1997 Sunfire real slow to crank, shuts down immediately

I would recommend having the ignition module tested. I have had one of these vehicles with the same problem and that is what fixed it.
