ITS THE FAN INSIDE THE CABIN FOR HEATING AND COOLING. I'VE READ SOME PLACES THAT IT MIGHT BE THE BLOWER RESISTOR, DOES THIS SOUND RIGHT?

Same problem. Heater blower motor continues after the car is turned off. Since it's Sunday, had to disconnect the battery to prevent dead battery. 2003 525i

It's a blower fan resistor or a final stage unit.  Same thing.  You can order it online for around $80 and fix it yourself.  I think the cold weather and hot weather cause it screw up.  I just had the same problem

What do you mean by "blower"? Is it the radiator fan or the fan inside the cabin that is for heating and ventilation?

BLOWER FAN WILL NOT SHUT OFF EVEN WHEN TRUCK TURNED OFF

Sounds like the blower control module. Alo inpect the multi wire plug, they sometimes get damaged from the heat. The module and plug should be in the immediate vicinity of the blower motor, generally behind or below the glove box

2010 jeep blower stays running after button off

changing the blower motor was a waste of time and money, you have power going to the blower after the switch (button) is turned off, could be a bad switch

When I turn my car off the air conditioner still runs-I needed a jump the other day because it ran all night and wore the battery down.

OK, if the relay for the A/C fan is bad, then the radiator's fan will keep running after turning off the ignition. Also, if the fan for ventilation of the A/C in the cabin stays on after the ignition is turned off, the relay for that is bad.

Good luck on this repair.

The blower in the rear cabin of my 2006 Dodge Durango stays on.

Seems like a stuck relay, for rear fan. I'm not familiar enough with your car to elaborate further.

Blower stays on when ignition is turned of.

The sensor is probably defective as it keeps the fan on regardless of water temp. Get it replaced.

Air conditioning blower stays on at all times.

Per your description, I believe you may have a blower fan relay that is stuck closed.
Remove the relay from the under-hood fuse center and see if the fan stops.
If it does stop, put the relay in slowly and see if you here the relay "click" and the fan come back on.
Let me know.

AC BLOWER FAN STAYS ON IN MY HUMMER H2 (2003) AFTER IGNITION IS SWITCHED OFF- WHY WOULD THIS OCCUR?...

When does it go off (the fan). I assume it does, sooner or later, go off? Some blowers (high-end vehicles) stay on a little longer to clear moisture, but if this just started (hasn't happened since day one) then I would assume it is a short (pray it isn't) or the blower cutoff relay/blower motor relay. If neither relay is available for that car, it could be built-in to the motor. Then, try to unhook the motor and put a tester on the connection plug going into the motor and see if you can get power with the car on, and watch it disappear once the car is turned off, that indicates it is the motor or the resistor atop the motor.
