Dear Steve_Borela,

Try pressing the switch again, these are usually DPDT (double pole double throw) switches. Meaning they have a push to make, push to unmake connection. In short your hazard lights are still on. If you have turned them off, then either your switch or a connection issue.

Hope this is the fixya for you.

Yours sincerely

Leave it clicking and follow the sound. But it might not be that, check your bulbs as well one by one.

remove hazzard switch from dash, and unplug wires from switch, keep wires from touching each other w/ tape. blinkers should work. change out hazzard switch w/ new switch.

2002 pontiac grand am hazzard switch keeps clicking

This is a pretty common problem on most gm's. What is happening is the white wire from the flasher module is being grounded inside of the multifunction switch when it is not supposed to be. The fix for this is top relace the turn signal multifunction switch that the turn signal lever is attached to. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Thank you for using!

1999 Corolla hazzard lights not working. Indicator's are, but only if hazzard switch is off?

Try replaced the hazard flasher. Usually located under the dash by the steering column area.. There is also another one for the signals so make sure you replace the correct one. Both flashers might look the same. Here is a picture below of a flasher

The turn singal noise just keeps going off, its not actually flashing lights just the noise... how can I fix this???

the hazzard flashers and turn signals are all in one unit. so the flasher switch needs replaced on dash. there is a timer within the hazzard switch.remove the trim around switch, it just pulls out, but be carefull it is fragile. just put something behind trim to pull it off. but first check for screws at insrument panel. after trim is off, take out the screws that hold it in. i think there are 2 screws. then pull it straight out, and disconnect wiring harness. have a good day !!

Need to know where turn signal relay is on a2005

The flasher for the turn signal and hazzard lights is internal to the hazzard light push button.

A very bad design choice, because the entire dash bezel needs removed to remove the switch. But that is only 6 screws and a couple of clips.

Before buying the dealer only part. Take the switch out and give it a tap on a solid surface. That fixed mine. 10 minutes of work and it was fixed.

Good luck and keep me posted.

All 4 signal lights go on(hazzard) when signal light is used left or right

You have a short to power somewhere in the wiring harness. (most likely) Check your wiring for chafed wires that are touching.

Clicking noise from the blinker wont turn off!

There are 2 common things that cause this.
1. the hazzard flasher is faulty. the hazzard button and the turn signal flasher are all in one. Sometimes pushing the hazzard button in slightly will get the noise to happen, and is an indication it is faulty.
2. The turn signal switch in the steering column is bad. Turning the turn signal from left to right- very fast and harshly, will sometimes clear it up for awhile.

Having problems with repeated clicking in dash when turn signals are not on. I believe it is a multifunction switch but don't know how to repair and what tools I need. It is a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am GT. ...

The most common for this is that the hazzard flasher switch is the problem. The hazzard flasher / switch is also the turn signal flasher. There is no wire to cut to stop the clicking. The switch needs to be replaced. Lightly pushing in on the switch button will cause the lights to act irratically if it is the problem. The only other thing that causes this is the turn signal switch in the steering column. Tech jk
