I have a 2003 chyrsler 300m it went in limp mode codes p0700. P0340 p0344 p0430 p0888 came up cleared the codes and now it knocks.

clearing codes wont correct the problem and limp mode is designed to protect motor and transmission - p0700 is a transmission problem
P0700 Transmission Control System Malfunction p0340 is camshaft position sensor malfunction p0344 is also a camshaft position sensor circuit problem
P0344 Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Intermittent your p430 is a cat converter problem and p0888 is transmission relay problem these reasons are limp mode the knock can be fuel not burning correctly or a lower engine knock can mean you damaged a piston

Run fault codes and look for knock sensor fault. What you have is detonation caused from premature ignition problems causes are lean fuel mixture.--timing--map/maf sensor faults --oxygen sensors faulty-- crossed HT leads and low fuel pressure in the fuel manifold

What problems will a bad knock sensor cause

A bad knock sensor will cause nothing noticable,you cannot feel a bad knock sensor at all, it gives no drivability at all.The purpose of the knock sensor is ****** timing 5 to 10 degrees.

1999 300M the engine is knocking. It also shuts off in mid drive

There is a Knock Sensor (1) on this engine, but is in the center of the engine UNDER the intake manifold on the block (in the valley, the valley so low). Check the values of the voltage in a Chiltons or OEM book and unplug it from the rear and test it before you remove it. (Quite a job removing the plenum, wires, Manifold and finally the knock sensor (about 75 bucks in the Midwest at a parts store). If so, you are lucky in a 3.3L you have to remove a HEAD.

I have a 1999 chrysler 300m, my auto stick does not engage [1-2-3-4] why?, is it a sensor.

Nicker- Yes it is likely there is a sensor out, but take a look at the transmission codes first. That will help you alot. Even replacing the two sensors, of which I have written about here before won't work unless you clear the codes- but the codes are important reading if you consider the overall health of your engine and Trans.

Where do i find the cam shaft and knock sensors for a 1999 chrysler 300m?

remove the intake manifold ,remove radiator ,remove radiator intake and outake housing, remove fan ,remove all belts: power steering, alternator and if you have a/c, remove harmonic balancer ,remove timing belt covers, remove timing belt remove intake housinng once you have remove all the above, your freaken engine will look naked, you can see the location of the knock sensor is locate in the engine valley
