SOURCE: Ford Expedition rear brake brake replacement

The rear pads are usualy harder than the front and the harder the pads the more wear there is on the rotors Unless the rotors were worn to the point of replacement they could have had them skimmed.Being soft doesnt make much sense.Have an 03 ba falcon and only replaced our rotors after doing 125000ks The expidition is a similar beast that used the same brake system.Get the rotors skimmed and go to a slightly softer pad to extend rotor life

SOURCE: Door locks on Ford Expedition stuck

Look under your steering wheel right under the dash. There should be a small white strip with 5 numbers. This is your master code for your vehicle. If you bought the car used and they give you a code, they could have made their own code, but the master will override it. If this don't help, the module for the doors may be going bad.

Rear hatch door in ford windstar-mechanism came apart

My back hatch would not open but it appears the lock was sticking and the return spring to the handle is broken. We used the key to unlock the back door and then door opened. Then husband sprayed WD 40 in all the lock holes. Now once we open the door we have to push the handle back down as return spring is still missing but the door opens :) . My van is a 2002 Ford Windstar.

Spray WD-40 in each of the door latches, rear hatch latch, and rear window latch. Open and firmly shut each several times. This will free up the stuck switch.

It has a bad rear temp control actuator. Start digging in the rear hatch for the thump and you will find the actuator. Have you checked fuses for the radio? The radio fuse memory fuse might also control the seat. As for the door, it sounds like a rusted latch. You will have to try to remove hatch panel to get to the latch to lube it or replace it.
