Question about Toyota Camry Solara
Battery running low, bought it 7 months ago. Alternator belt good condition and tight. Windows go up with key on, but not without. Change alternator, battery runs down, get a jump and hear the relay switch making clicking noise. Change relay switch. Battery dies, but only loose nut on alternator. Get a jump and it's fine to start for 6 hours. Try to start next morning and relay switch starts making same noise.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

try the battery connectors if you haven't already... sometimes replacing these is all that is needed to get the charge back.
If not.. check out a new starter.

their is no fuse for alternator.you can go to the auto parts store and they will test your car for free. And tell you weather it alternator or battery. But it sounds like a battery issue

loosen the mounting bolts on the alternator, remove the old belt, replace with the new belt, slightly tighten the top mounting bolt, pull the alternator up until the belt is tight or if there is an adjustment bolt, crank down until tight (shouldn't bow more than 1"), and tigten other hardware.
