Question about 1998 Chevrolet Blazer
A 98 blazer has a timing chain. You will need to remove the alternator, a/c compressor, the brackets for both of those, and finally the water pump. Once all of that is out of the way you will need to remove the crank pulley. You will then be able to remove the timing cover and access the timing chain. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Thank you for using FixYa.com!
