david i just replaced the timing belt , water pump , crank shaft sensor, and the tentioner for the timing belt which it is recomemded you replace all of these while you are at it and it is a real *****, you better have a very good set of tools, socket sets with extentions and open end wrenches, a air rachet, a harmonic balance puller, they say just remove the crank shaft pulley, but it is not nearly that easy, you would start by removing the coolant resivoir, and removing the top engine mount on the passenger side then you must remove serpenteen belt and all pulleys that prevent you from removing the timing belt covers both top and bottom, this will include the harmonic balance pulley and the timing belt to get to that you will need to remove the tire on the front passenger side, and you will need to remove the engine mounting essembly from the engine allong with the pulley attached then you will have to put a jack with a piece of wood on top of it under the oil pan and jack the engine up high enough to remove the water pump out after you remove the bolts and put the new one in and the crank shaft senson is a real ***** to find but it is on the drivers side of the engine near the top but again it is very difficult to see and even more difficult to get to without removing a buncb of delicate wires and hoses you better be very determined because this is a major job, good luck!!!

SOURCE: disarm alarm on a 2004 sonata

If you use your keyfob to lock the doors, it will activate the alarm, and you will need to unlock with the keyfob. If you lock the doors with the lock button on the inside of the door, it should not activate the alarm.

SOURCE: Just changed the Timing Belt on my 2004 Hyundai

Did you line up the marks on all the gears properly?Sounds like the balance shaft mark is off, or the valves got bent and you have a missfire. This is an interference engine
