Question about 1986 Toyota 4Runner
My truck has a rough idle and when i accelerate it hestitates and stays at the same rpm until i slam on the gas then the rpms jump up to about 3 grand. It feels like its just not getting enough gas when the pedal is pressed a little or even half way, then when the pedal is all the way down it gets too much all at once.
Mine is kinda doing the same thing but the difference is mine when I push on the gas all the way mine jus sputters and runs really rough! And is now ideling extremity rough to. It had a brand new engin in it, my mechanic says it needs a valve adjustment. What do you think?

The problem is the junkyard gas how long has it been in those cars bet you have water in your tank, or that gas has turned to lamp oil lol. Drain your tank
