SOURCE: 2012 Western Star headlights will not turn off

Sounds like a the relay that powers the headlights has jammed in the on position..

Just a matter of finding the relay, it will be most likely under the dash, just pull one out at a time till the lights go out....

How to adjust headlights.....1998 GMC

Open your hood. Look right above your headlights just inside the hood area, you'll see a small steel rod sticking up. To it's outside, against the fender is another one. They have tiny hex heads on them. Find a good fitting socket and adjust away. The fender side rod is in and out, the inside one is up/down.

How do you aim headlights on 1998 subaru forester

Each Headlight should have 2 adjusters directly behind where the lamp assy is fitted inside the engine bay. 1 will screw in or out to adjust the headlight left to right, the other adjusts up or down.

How do i adjust the headlights on a 1993 cadillac devlle?

open the hood [at nite time] turn headlights on, face car towards garage door or brick will need a star type screw driver, at top of the headlights you will see where the ajustment screws are, if you've wrecked your car, you'll need replacement assemblies. if not, it's a spmple process, with lights on and facing a wall, simply turn the star screws to adjust the headlights left to right, or up and's a problem-if you do not have the right tool to adjust them! habor freight has the right tools to do what you need! or autozone, advance automotive, nappa, even sears, they have what you need[toolwise]but you will need to adjust them in the dark while your vehicles facing a wall.have a flashlight handy[tip] hope this helps and merry christmas! and as always, please repost your question if you need further assistance!

I need a headlight adjustment tool for a 2006 Chevy Equinox. Based on what I saw in the adjustment hole, it's probably a geared-end type tool. Where can I buy one?

It's a t-15 Torx tool (screwdriver). You can buy one at your local parts store. Tell them that you want to adjust your headlights.

Autozone and Advance Auto Parts have it, for example.

Where are adjustment screws on my 2002 dodge intrepid headlight?

On top of the housing of the headlight, you will see some small holes. With the use of a flashlight, look through these holes and you will see some torqux screws (T-20 or T-25 star bit). First loosen the headlight housing. With the use of the stars bits, adjust the headlight as needed and then re-tigthen the housing. You're done.

Head light bounces

On the top of the headlight is a star shaped fitting. This is the adjuster. It works by spinning a gear that is mounted to a shaft to position the headlight up and down.

I've seen them fall off, where the headlight is not adjustable, infact, the bulb sits at the bottom position and bounces up and down.

Adjuster is not available as a part from GM, you are required to replace the headlight.
