Question about Cars & Trucks
Have an intermittent fault which causes Rodeo to backfire when running on LPG. Had it converted 3 years ago. No problems to start with. Then one day I noticed that the air cleaner had blown it's clips off. Since then have had a backfire through the air cleaner every couple of days. Also hear a gurgle in the exhaust. Have had it back on numerous occasions to the installer, but he can't figure out what's wrong.
Backfiring in this case is caused by a lean air/fuel mixture, so I would suggest you richen up the gas supply by either increasing the pressure or the volume of gas being delivered to the engine.
