We are based in California and Hoddens are not sold here mate, so sorry have no information. Doesn't Holden have an owners website that offers free downloads of owners manuals? They are made by GM right?

SOURCE: Is it possible to adjust the timing on a 1.4L petrol Holden Barina 2001 engine?

If the engine ran with out coolant and damaged the head then there is a very real probability that the pistons have picked up on the cylinder walls which will cause the noise . Do a compression test to see the condition of the rings (lost tension) and the bores

Clock in 2012 sportswagon runs 30s a week too fast holden had no answer and are yet to get back to me

clocks are controlled by a small crystal device that has a set frequency. If the clock gains or looses time then the unit should be replace under warranty unless there is a small inbuilt screw that enables adjustment of the frequency. I say under warranty as Holdens have a 3 or 5 year warranty
