Question about 1994 Honda Civic
First dont let the needle go into the red anymore!!! i blew two heads already with my civic. this can be multiple problems. your idle is going up and down because you have a vaccume leak somewhere, it could be due to low radiator fluid, or hole in a radiator hose, your air intake has a hole, something is taking in unaccepted air causing your ile to be off. this could mean you are loosing radiator fluid in your head which is increadibly bad! if your tail pipe or antifreeze resivor is emmiting white smoke then you have blown your head and i guarentee its not cheap to fix. the problems for why your temp gauge goes up could range from a bad fan not kicking on, bad water pump, bad alot of stuff. its like a domino affect, you need to take it to a trusted mechanic before you cause more harm.
