Question about 2007 Chevrolet Aveo Sedan
Sound like alternator faulty or drive belt could be slipping due to broke drive belt tensioner,check make sure alternator wires not damaged or disconnected. with the engine idling check alternator voltage out put at battery with digital volt meter, should be 13.5 - 14.5 volts.if not alternator faulty.also check alternator fuse before replacing alternator.turn off radio first before disconnecting negative battery cable,to remove alternator have the auto parts store check it out alternator before buying a new one.reason i say turn off radio first if you dont you will lock it out when you disconnect the negative battery cable.
