Check the level of Oil in the reserve OIL reservoir.
The sound you hear is the auto-fill pump running on empty trying to top off the oil as it drops below 'SAFE' when cornering or accelerating. DO NOT IGNORE THIS
If the reservoir Oil level is OK, then you have a bad Oil-level sensor, pump or wiring. GET IT FIXED or you will lose your motor. Another possibility, the VENT hole in the cap of the Oil Reservoir is clogged, and won't let air in to push Oil out. Check by opening the cap and listening for Hssssssss sound. Clean cap well and Use a Toothpick to open the venthole again.
If it isn't a plugged hole, low Oil in the reservoir and the cost of FIXING is too high for you (as was for me at the time it failed) Disconnect your pump until you can afford the FIX, and Top off your engine oil manually. The wire is located immediately behind the reservoir
My Sensor cost $135.00, Pump was $229.00 - Find out if that is the problem and Check a Junkyard, Craigslist or Ebay

SOURCE: Clicking noise on acceleration
I know how to fix you're problem.... Get some Fosgate 12'inch sub woofers With a 2 channle amp and some Boston speakers with a 4 channle amp ,. :) You Will NEVER hear the sound again.... . :)
I don't think it's a normal sound at all but, ........................... I can't really tell you, seeming i didn't build the car lol , Does it make the sound after the car is off?
And if it is normal..... Then you should go get a Corolla lol
Did you ask them why it makes the sound it does? And what did they say? I seem to find most people that work at the dealers are morons. And all they do is well... we can check it out for you 200$.. lol Then tell you we couldn't find it, :<
Best of Luck

injectors do make noise. but with it as new as it is it shouldnt really make much noise. If you can hear it from the fender well it might could be a exhaust leak. toyota makes good cars and rarely have problems so soon. As long as it has been in the shop to be cheaked out. then you should be ok. cause it will be noted in their computor system. thats if the noise worsens and something breaks. but you should have a couple more years. might even have a 100k warrenty on the power train. if so then you have nothing to worry about.
