SOURCE: 2003 Explorer sport trac. Airbag light won't go off

it is not reccomedned for a non trained technician to attempt diagnosis and/or repair of an airbag system, your life depends on that the legal disclaimer is out of the way ;) flasdhing code as you describe is called a LFC or lamp fault code. the code you speak of is for.... Impact Sensor Status (Front Impact Severity Sensor Circuit Fault). it is common for these vehicles to have a corroded impact sensor, it is located in front of the radiator, the connector and sensor must be replaced (and soldered in for integrity) should it be corroded. i suggest a dealership for this repair as one false move and inadvertant air bag deployment may result...good luck!

Replace front oxygen sensors on all your vehicles at 100,000 miles
That is required preventative maintenance, unless you don't care about
fuel trim & throttle response

I didn't go into details with the codes-- too much too type

I doubt you can work on it

If you want the long version & do it yourself -- I'll give you that later tonight

Just ask what you want

2007 Ford Sport Trac dashboard flashing engine code. What does this mean?

Hi Charles:
You will need to scanned the car computer to know exactly what fault code is stored there; note this code number and send us for additional details.

Sometimes Autozone or Autoshop with OBD scanner reader make this job for free, try it and keep us updated.

I have a 2005 Ford Explorer Sport Trac with either thermostat or temp sensor problem. I had ck engine lite code read and it says PO128 probable temp sensor. There are 2 sensor devices on the thermostat...

I think 1 is the sensor and on is the sender I beleive. Cant remember the order they are in. They should both be keyed different. If you unplug the pigtail from both, you can match the end up to the new one. Not a bad idea to do both though. They are cheap.

Need battery ford sport trac 2008 what size is best?

When you say physical size--they go by Group Size

Most vehicles only take one size

If you mean Cold Cranking Amps (CCA)
or other ratings--I would always get the largest

You may find 650 is the largest for your vehicle
The owners manual will tell you
Also whatever is in there now, should be an
original Motorcraft. So replace with same capacity, any brand
