Should be an easy job. The hardest part is locating the sensor on the engine.

Crankshaft sensor

It looks like its on the side of the block, and easy to get to. one bolt holds it in, and it pulls right out. Here is a diagram of its locaton:5e07fd6f-45ba-4748-b950-40df5322281c.jpg

and here is a picture of a new one, as it will show you better what your looking for.:

Just unplug it, take out the 1 bolt, and replace. 94.99 at my autozone store tho. OUCH. sorry about the price.

Changed crankshaft sensor now it wont start

Hello
Did you have the tool and set the air gap correctly? This is very important. Improper sensor air gap causes loss of signal and a no start. This is one that is better left to the dealer. Just one experts opinion having had this same problem myself on my Buick 3.8L.

1995 jeep wangler .drove it home, wont start. replaced fuel pump, new ign switch and crankshaft sensor.

I would have started a little cheaper myself. First, is it a fuel delivery problem or an electrical delivery problem? It could be something like a bad spark plug or wire, a clogged fuel filter. You indicate that you have already spent alot of money...some on a fuel pump and some on an ignition switch and crankshaft sensor. These are all expensive items that may not even be the problem. Check out the cheap stuff first and work by process of elimination. Hope this helps. Good luck.

1996 HONDA ACCORD CRANKSHAFT SENSOR AND CAMSHAFT SENSOR.

befor in the ealier models of accords they use to be both the cam and crank sensors in the distibutor but they separated them !!!So no they are not together on your car tha cam sensor is in the distributor and the crank sensor is in front of engine or in the lower timing belt cover if it is in the timing cover you can see a wire going dow the timing cover way to the bottom on the rear side off it

hope it will help you if you have any question just wright back !!!!
