My truck started to cut out at all speeds just for about 1 second a month ago. I had the spark plugs/wires replaced, fuel filter replaced, coil pack, replaced, new injectors, fuel drained and replaced, fuel pump tested, checked for exhuast leaks and it still miss fired on 1 and 3, and runs worse than before. Now the check engine light came on and it sounds like only half of the engine is running, 2.2L 5-speed. The truck has 150,000 miles. Could this be the throttle position sensor like was mentioned on 8/15, if so where is this sensor located? HELP!
Your throttle position sensor should be located on the throttle body opposite of where the throttle cable hooks on too. Look for a small black box on the other side with wires leading into a connector. get your codes read and re post them it could be a simple fix.

if you know its getting fuel then lest talk about spark check the spark plug wires and the spark plugs if you got spark see if your getting air check the air filter if its to dirty it wont start beacuse clean air wont come through
you will need to drain the fuel in the tank and replace the fuel filter and plugs after a couple years the fuel will go bad and it will plug the filter and foul the plugs if you do those 3 things and in that order it should start it is important even though you have good fuel pressure that you replace the filter to prevent damage too your injectors
I apologize for the late response...Due to the bad economic situation this site has had a substantial (+50%) increase in the number of questions being asked in the last four months. I assume you have a 4.3L and not the 2.2L?
For the 4.3L: Firing Order:
(front of vehicle)
............(front of vehicle)

your power starts at the brake light fuse, check with a test light, then proceed to stop light switch on brake pedal under dash, one wire will be hot when when you check it with your test light, the other won't be until you press down the brake pedal then the power flows through to the second wire,if no power to second wire replace switch,if you have power remove tail light bulbs and check for power in side socket.
the spark unit is shorting out to system ground. remove the spark unit and look carefully at where it is mounted and look for small cracks in the electrical insulation material that was poured into it at the spark unit factory. if water gets into this area, havoc occurs.
