You NEVER go to a dealer
They have NOTHING SPECIAL to offer
They just over charge you

In this case, you go to a trans repair shop,
immediately. NEVER drive ANY Vehicle with
trans issues,ever

The solenoid can be changed, and anything
over $200 for the solenoid, labor, fluids would
be too much, unless it has a solenoid pack,
which is $332.00 wholesale (I have a bill in front
of me,you won't get that price though)

Hi there,

Code P0775 = Pressure Solenoid "B"

This solenoid is responsible for feeding the correct transmision fluid 'pressure' through the valve body. The valve body is located inside your transmission and contains multiple valves & shifting solenoids, responsible for the correct shifting behaviour of your gears etc.

To gain access to the valve body/sole, you will need to drain transmission fluid, then undo the transmission cover.

You will need to check the resistance of each solenoid, to confirm they are within factory spec.

Some transmission designs will provide access to the solenoids once you remove the trans cover (this design allows you to easily test/replace the solenoids), but if your design requires the removal of the valve body first, then you should leave this job to an experienced FORD transmission specialist, as the valve body is a very delicate piece of machinery with many minute parts. The valve body can be very easily damaged, if not treated with care.

Good luck....
