Question about 2003 Kia Rio

Knocking noise from passenger rear wheel

No matter how fast/slow I go, you can hear the noise. It seems to sound like a flat tire, but my tires are good. The faster I drive, the louder the noise. It's only on the passenger side (back end) & when I turn the wheel to the left it goes away until I straighten out again. HELP!!!! Is it an easy at home fix, or does it need the shop?

SOURCE: when driving our 2006 kia the car is really

To check how tight the front end is, place a jack under the lower arm of each front tire( make sur the car is secure and won't roll) and lift so tires are free of ground. Grasp the tires and try to turn them left and right. There should be minnimal movement. Check the steering components to see where the slack is, if any. If the seeering is tight have the tires checked for balance.

1997 jeep grand ch. has a clunking noise. when i turn the steering wheel. the noise sounds like a flat tire but louder.what could it be?

There is something wrong with one of your tires. Take it to a tire repair place soon before it leaves you stranded. My guess: a tire has a big lump on it which will blow soon.

I hear tire on the road noise

Try gently "weaving " back and forth while you can hear the noise,if it's worse turning one way than the other, figure on a wheel bearing,if it doesn't change,it's a tire . Rotation may calm the noise down and give you some more tire life.

I have a grinding noise coming from, what sounds like to me, the front passenger side tire. you will hear it as you as you gain speed, and the sound basically gets louder and faster, the faster you go....

Change both front Wheel Hub Bearings

You know the left is bad, so why tells us
change it

The brake wear is from not doing brake work
often enough,no rust removal,no lubing of of
any moving parts

The right side was basically rusted & frozen in place
& not releasing, the repair shops don't do much in that
area, need to do your own work

Take brakes apart once or twice a year

There is a knocking noise coming from the rear of my 94 chevy 1500 series truck it is knocking at the speed of the tires turning and is loudest at slow speeds, what is it?

Car wheels spin at different speeds, especially when turning. When making a turn the outside tire turns faster than the inside tire since to outside tire has a longer distance to travel in the same amount of time through the turn.

REAR passenger tire makes loud clunking and grinding noises when turning more than 30-45 degrees above 5-15 mph

I don`t think you have cv axles in the rear of that.My guess would be wheel bearings could be grinding. Donut spares are strickly to be used for short periods of time and not to be driven at any higher rates of speed. Some damage may have occurred during the actual incident when you had the flat initially.Damage to the rear axle itself,
