2003 Ford escape fuse blows in and stuck in park Changed brake pedal switch. But fuse still blows

Suspect short in electrical wiring. If repairs have been performed recently check in those areas first. Remove fuse and connect meter. Have someone observe meter while harness near rear light fixtures are flexed. Check for wiring near exhaust. Check wiring at hatch if lights are installed in rear gate. Possible short in harness.

No joy start disconnecting cable connections see wiring diagram.

Hope this helps.

My car is stuck in park

If the shifter won't move out of park, the problem could be the brake light switch or the solenoid that locks the shifter in park. Those components would need to be checked with a meter.

Jason, I have a 97 Chevrolet Blazer (S-10), and it want shift from park(thumb button will not press in)

Don't know who Jason is, but the problem may be the brake switch or the solenoid in the console that locks the shifter in park.
You can check the brake switch with a meter, or disconnect the solenoid from the shifter until you can get it repaired.

Usually the brake switch or the solenoid that locks the shifter in park.
Someone would need to check the solenoid with a meter.
Also could have tension on the shifter such as parking on a steep hill.
