Question about GMC Savana
Where is fuel filter located on GMC 1999 Savana 2500 van?
The fuel filter is located underneath the truck on the drivers side frame rail. You will need to raise the truck safely to get under. You will need a 21mm and a 16mm wrench. The 16mm wrench should be a line wrench so you don't ruin the hex head of the fitting.

It could be a clogged fuel filter or a bad fuel pump. Also try replacing the spark plugs and spark plug wires and having the timing checked. Good luck.

remember you will always charge an air conditioner on the low side. which is always on the larger hose. there is a smaller one which is the high side so stay away from the small one.. look up near the radiator and see if you see the dryer which is about 3 inches across and 8 inches long and looks like a cylinder.. on this device there is a port where you can charge it .. also this year might be up near the firewall .. they change locations too often .. thanks and holler if you need more. could be a bad fuel pump, or fuel pump relay. they are having problems(a lot) with the ethanol in the gas on GM products.Fuel pumps sales are through the roof at parts house on GM's. Have a pressure check on your fuel system. That is probably it. Add a can of Seafoam to your fuel every 3000 miles to alleviate this problem.
